Overview

The VIP Gulet Mermaid is a unique motor sailer yacht on the Turkish coast, for while it is not a classic wooden gulet, the composite hull sailing yacht displays customised technology and designer led style with all the five star service of a super deluxe VIP sailing gulet.

Built in 2009, the Mermaid underwent a full designer renovation in 2016, led by international architect and designer Milena Cvijanovich, who worked on the fundamentals of gulet deck space and high guest expectations to create luxurious relaxation spaces, impeccable functionality, and superlative service technology.

Interior

The addition of the fly bridge dedicated the upper deck to leisure by day and night, with jacuzzi, bar, cushion banks and sunlounge sunbathing terrace, and al fresco dining table. The deck can be a space for quiet relaxation, even by night with a pop-up giant screen, or a party area with the conversion of tables to buffet service and the in-house music system.

The main deck has the classic gulet shaded aft dining table and forward deck relaxation areas. The indoor saloon is an eye-catching elegantly crafted space with a full dining table for sophisticated dining, and a long lounge sofa for quiet gatherings or enjoying entertainment via screens and the technology at a touch. The redesign did not stop at decoration, but installed a state-of-the-art sound and cinema equipment system, an iPad integrated system controls for media, lights, a/c, blinds, and created a professional kitchen capable of five star cuisine and service. The seven person crew delivers impeccable service.

Exterior

Below deck, the crisp light timber and white surfaces imbue an understated luxury to the chic master stateroom with king size bed, bath, and spacious bathroom. Three double bed cabins and one twin bed cabin complete the stylish, comfortable, well-appointed accommodation.

The Mermaid yacht not only motors but sails with a fully modern rig. It also carries a full suite of water toys designed to further entertain the guests on water, for their memorable customised yachting holiday on the Aegean.
