Overview

The stately 47m long hull of the VIP Gulet Carpe Diem IV, launched in 2011, guarantees space and privacy for the discerning guests seeking effortless luxury and comfort on their customised yacht charter holiday.

Incorporating technology and modern design, the Bodrum master shipwrights built the Carpe Diem series of classic wooden sailing yachts to traditional gulet principles, creating timelessly beautiful, grand yachts embellished with exquisite quality mahogany and teak throughout.

Interior

The traditional generous spaces on the gulet deck include the two sunbed areas on the forward deck plus the classic curved seat for cocktails, conversations, and enjoying the views of the Aegean seas.

On the aft deck, the centrepiece is the beautifully curved timber seat and the dining table, plus a reversed second seat facing the inviting cushioned bench across the stern.

The spacious interior saloon, boasting a second hand-crafted dining table, and a corner lounge sofa, divides the below deck accommodation into the forward group of three cabins, and the aft group of three cabins. Given their sumptuous size and proportions, they are rightfully considered luxury staterooms. The magnificent master cabin set across the stern enjoys the full natural light from the windows, highlighting the king size bed, and the fittings for a tranquil retreat. Two twin bed cabins are located to each side. The VIP cabin lies forward, with two double bed cabins to each side. All are cabins have their own marble lined bathrooms, personally controlled air-conditioning, and TV and music systems.

Exterior

Sophisticated technology has been applied throughout, including to the kitchens, where meals are prepared by the chef and crew, in the navigation aids, and the full sailing rig.

The professional crew attend to the guests’ requests, and activities including the use of the full suite of water toys, and to every detail, carefully designed to provide the most enjoyable gulet sailing holiday on the unique waters of the Mediterranean and Aegean.
